¶ System update
Preliminary remarks:
During the system upgrade its services will be unavailable
- The system upgrade may last up to an hour.
- Before NACVIEW update starts running, the system needs to be secured by getting backup copies made. We recommend to make a copy with available mechanisms such as: snapshot of virtual machines.
- If you have 2.3.15 version or a newer one - before you make step 3 - from your highlited options in CLI choose 7.
¶ How to upgrade the NACVIEW System?
1. From the main NACVIEW menu select System update( in the Administration section).
2. Click Check the latest version.
If you do not have the latest version, you will see the following update available message below the button.
3. Log in to the CLI master and from available menu there select option 6.
4. The update download process should start now, wait untill it has ended.
5. After the update download in CLI has been completed, down below you will see the Update system request- confirm you want the update by typing ‘y’ then pressing ‘Enter’.
The system update may take up to one hour.
6. After the update proces has been completed, restart the master.
Now you need to update the nodes. In order to do it, from the main menu select the System Nodes (in the Administration section).
7. Click the Nodes update.
8. You should see a window with the modes list, which can be marked to update. Keep your options marked and click Save.
