Authorization configuration from the switch GUI is very easy and comes down to just a few steps. However, make sure to disable the default Handshake option in one place. OK, let's get started!
After logging in to the switch GUI, go to the SECURITY tab in the top menu.
From the left menu, expand the AAA block, then click RADIUS Config, click +Add and enter the NACVIEW server IP address and key in the Shared Key field.
Be sure to turn off Handshake option!
The Handshake function is used to detect the connection status between the company's dedicated TP-Link 802.1x client software and the switch. Therefore, disable Handshake if you are using other client software instead of the TP-Link 802.1x client.
Accept with the Apply button.
